Steve Blacklock the Director of Business Development and Strategic Advisor at Wm. S. Jackson & Associates Ltd.  His role focusses on education and mentorship of the next generation of appraisal professionals, business development and strategic advisory.

Steve commenced work with Jackson & Associates in 2006 and has developed a broad range of valuation knowledge with particular emphasis on commercial and investment properties located in the Comox Valley and Powell River areas.

 

Steve holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Simon Fraser University and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation for the University of British Columbia.  Steve earned the use of the AACI, P.App. designation by the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2009.

 

His professional career also includes extensive volunteer experience in the profession including two terms as President of the BC Association of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC-BC) from 2016 to 2018.  He has also served as a director on the Appraisal Institute of Canada National Board of Directors and is currently serving as president of Comox Valley Rotary Club and is serving as a Councilor on the Town of Comox Council.
